I'm going to get some rules straight before people start asking to become a moderator. These are some basic requirements before you should make a request.
Requirements to become a moderator:
Must have at least 50 posts (this will rise later. Some people won't need to get that many posts depending on the time they have spent on another message board I might know.)
Must have gotten a certain amount of points. I look at post quality, and if your points for 30 posts aren't high enough, you'll need to post more
Must be considerate to other posters/ members.
Must follow the rules constantly.
Requirements to become a Super Moderator (Global Moderator):
Must apply to all above moderator rules.
Must have 150 or more posts (suggested).
Must have been here for at least a month
Must have been well-known to me either here or another place.
Must be trustworthy Requirements to be an administrator:

I'm just going to make another moderator-related announcement. I have made a moderator board. Yes, a moderator and administrator only board. If you're a moderator, you will probably receive a PM sometime soon with the password to the board. Enjoy! 8)
Not really, because this thread was made especially for announcements only. Unless you really know what I've set as an announcement, I doubt you need to start new topics. You can reply if you have any comments about these announcements, because sometimes people have questions about them.

-If you are a mod and are gone for a long time without notifing us that you will be gone we will de-mod you--
-Admin requirements- Must be online a lot,300 posts, must be active, must be trustworthy, and all of the above requirements for super mods and regular mods and must have been a super mod for a while.
I am having problems with the Moderator positions. Some people ask for the positions but rarely post. This is hard because it is hard to de-mod somebody. It might make them made.
Instead of saying "moderator positions are available", I won't say anything at all. If you want to become a moderator, make sure you think you are prepared. THen post a poll in the Additions/Request Board. I already have aout 6 people moderators, and more people are requesting.
I'm still going to take in more moderator requests... But Global Moderator/Super Moderator requests should be closed for quite a while. The reason is that we don't need them... It just seems that people become a Moderator/Global Moderator just for the position...The real point is to clean up spam.
If you are one of the few regular moderators who actually post, then I'm closing extra positions for now. We cannot give positions even if you meet all requirements. It takes a bit of luck.
I have a suggestion, guys; this is something I do at my site. Every month, have an Employee of the Month award. In this, one mod is chosen to be a Super Mod by the admins. It gets a lot of hype going. ;D

K_Kid can rack up the posts like it's nobody's business. I got close to 120 posts at Gamerboards within 24 hours...I think I posted 200 one day @ RPGP. Armed with my trusty Pop up killer, here's K_Kid goin' at it on the Mystic Realm...All those posts & I DON'T spam at all...Sadly, one of RPGP's rules I've created is Board loyalty....Any of our staff will be stripped of their Modhood if they're caught Modding on any other forum, & believe me, I visit a lot ppl haven't even HEARD of...

Well, even if you meet the requirements it doesn't mean you should have that position. It just means that those are those guidelines to get to that position.
The reason we base moderator positions on posts is because that is the only thing that can keep a ProBoard/TMR alive. If people help, then they should at least deserve something.

I'm not mad or anything - I just want to give more rules and more about the moderator requirements at The Mystical Realm. Then people won't ask as often. Moderators aren't the only people who should post here, they are only responsible of more stuff.
I'm bumping up both the administrator and Global Moderator requirements for The Mystical Realm. Global Moderator requirement should be around 200 posts. Administrator requirements are around 600, soon to be 700
