Celda is the catoony version of The Legend of Zelda than will be released for the GCN. However, due to it's new appearance some former Zelda fans have hated the new graphics, but then again the graphics are nothing compared to the whole of a game. This issue has been going on ever since last fall during Spaceworld 2001 and continues on until now. Personally I think that it was kinda disappointing, but there is probably something good about the new graphics.

I the magazine i got those screenshots from (the official Nintendo Magazine) states that there are indeed 2 zelda games in development, the crap one and the spaceworld one, but the bad news is that the spaceworld one won't be out till next year.....

Wait mojo, are you confused? SpaceWorld 2000: 3-D real pictures of a new zelda. E3 2001: no news about cartoon zelda, just first GCN games. Spaceworld 2001: Cartoony Zelda; mario sunshine. E3 2002: More cartoony Zelda news. In this way, I overheard that Nintendo was making 2 or more zelda games. The cartoony one won't be released until next year, and the regular (let's hope) won't be released until 2004-2005-2006.

I must admit that I don't really fancy the new look but you mustent judge a game by it's graphics. The best game in the world may have the worst graphics but still be good, and visa vercia. I'll still get it because it's Zelda and still looks a like a game worth playing.

But it's not just the graphics I'm complaining about. It's the actual feel of the game. Last year I downloaded a version of what SpaceWorld 2001 had seen, which was the Celda (cartoony Zelda version). I once played it expecting that only the graphics changed, but the actual feel of the game had changed itself. If Game Play had altered, much more than graphics would had changed.

I'm not saying the game will be bad but, Why did they change the graphics? Why did they change he realistic graphics we all know and love. It's strange.\
If another game was to come out I do believe they would change them back to reaslistic graphics. Seeing that not many people like the new ones.

I'm sure that I'll be looking forward to the second Zelda that will be released for the GCN. The first one is still far from arriving, but looking in the far future is a part of the video game industry. In my opinion I hope the original (famous) Zelda graphics return. This probably depends on the sucess of the currently scheduled release of Celda. Or maybe the Zelds style will remain the way it is on Celda for the reason Zelda GCN has became Celda. We never know yet, since we have no predictions about whether or not a second Zelda will even be released. At the moment nothing is known about the future game, whether it will be totally different or similar to the other games of the Zelda tradition.

Yea I guess your right...Miyamoto confirmed that Celda would be out here in the U.S., so I'm not sure about UK since that game might come out later. Also I don't think the new game could be made in a whole year, maybe a year in a half. Please state your source.

Ever played one of those old Zeldas? Those ones on NES, SNES, and the gameboy ones? Those are probably some of the best Zelda games in the series yet those have graphics even worse then the new Zelda coming out.

yes, and the old zeldas weren't exactly like this. they didn't look like a cartoon but didn't have 3-D or great graphics. Take a look at LA and Celda, and you will see a reasonable difference. Possibly one reason why the Celda was made was to bring back old Zelda traditions that were forgoten in the last couple of N64 games. There's more to it than we know now, and the only way to solve this is to get to play the game when it comes out. It seemed like forever until this present day would be here, so the release of Celda isn't far away.

EXACTLY - how do we know if a game is crap or not just by graphics, when we have no idea of how it plays. Nuff Said.
