I've learned to master looking at tmr's hell, it's just a dead piece of *beep*

You dont have a clue do you? TMR is doing great for a proboard, you are comparing to VGC, which is huge because, it is a vBulletin board meaning more advertisements and its long established.

"vBulletin board" is that the *beep*
ing pathetic excuse for why everybody posts *beep*
ing over the *beep*
there? vB doesn't make a board better; all message boards store messages and activity is measured in the same way on both. "more advertisements and" I don't remember jesse said he advertises VGC. in most cases he doesn't.

What the heck is going on in here? If I can not monitor this better, and stuff happens, something is going to take action very soon for what I see happens frequently.

Don't worry about other boards, worry about your own...Sure, other boards may have more activity, but you know what they DON'T have??? Your friends. And that should count for more than anything...

Jesus mary and MJ - go to the vbulletin homepage, ALL boards are listed there and because half the people that go there exist. Its not a case of advertising, its a case of people finding this place, Wings introduced me to VGC and I think someone introduced him to it, after that person found it by vBulletin, and the same for TMR, Wings sent me here after Nick told him about it. Its just a case of telling people over and over again.

I almost gave up on Game Quest in the first 2 weeks I was there, but I decided to stick with it. There were 500 total posts when I joined, now, we get about 800+ posts per day, and plenty of 1,000+ post days.
VGC averages 190 PPD for the last month.
Posts really don't matter, Nick is right, it's Content, & even more important, Atmosphere, of which this place DOES have a good one.
Yes, people are more willing to post on a vB, that can't be helped.
If you want to try something like vB, get in touch with DarkOmega, he uses Burning Board, which is nearly EXACTLY like vB, and it's free.
It so close, it'll fool the best of you, and the Admin CP works a lot like vB as well...

Yeah that does sound cool. Maybe I could convert my board to that "burning board" place.

I was thinking exactly the samething, do people acctually join these places and are they as popular as vBulletin?

yes, I'll sticky this thread until somebody gives me the URL - burning board might be better than vBlite, but then again I can't get it installed...
