Yep, yesterday we got about 200 posts which is about 10% of the entire posts. If we grow at this rate, we'll probably be at 10,000 by the end of the year. I'm going to start trading banners and trying other things to get even more members.

Yeah, it was due to mine, Nick's and PD's posting spree yesterday, that it was reached so quickly.

Yeah, even though this wasn't our goal from when we got 1000. It was to get 100 posts on each board. We have 6 boards that have 100 right now

what is the point of having post goals. actually having more activity is a much better goal, for example 100 posts everyday. Unfortunately, this is different than post count.

Usually the total post count does reflect the activity. But you're right, we need to get into more variety of topics, so more people will join in, and more activity. Nevertheless, 2000 posts is a great goal to reach.

Yes, We need more activaty. At most we have 3 people who post every day. We need more people who post often:|

Yes like what PE2K mentioned activity is probably much more important. It looks like we are a big board, but we have barely gotten 10 posts a day sometimes. This will be a big problem as get bigger (or think bigger).

Well, how about a contest to pull in the posters?

That's what Jesse Smith did back at Video Game Chat. That got a lot of people to post, but now it is over less people post, especially Chrono. He only posted so he could win that free game.

Well, how about a contest to pull in the posters? And we probably know who'd win. Probably Me because no one else is really close to me accpet Nick but he wouldn't give a prize to himself.

Try a contest for the posters without special positions. For example: First to 200 posts becomes a Super Moderator. (excludes Wings, since he is already a Super Moderator.)

Yes, but still you are the one who'd probably win that because we are the only few who post here
